Robert F. Krapenc
Attorney Robert F. Krapenc has been practicing criminal law for over 25 years. A Cleveland native, Bob attended Case Western Reserve University for both his undergraduate and law school degrees. Bob began learning criminal law while working in the Cleveland City Prosecutor’s Office during law school.
After graduating law school, and passing the bar, Bob took a job with the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office where he worked for more than 16 years. He handled thousands of cases, trying hundreds of jury trials, including over 20 death penalty cases. Bob was one of the few attorneys appointed by then Governor Voinovich to prosecute cases arising out of the Lucasville Prison riots in 1994. During his years in the prosecutor’s office, Bob was a Senior Assistant Prosecutor whose responsibilities included the training and supervision of many new assistant prosecuting attorneys.
